A spin-off rather than a direct sequel, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood picks up after the events of Assassin’s Creed 2 and once again puts players in control of Ezio Auditore di Firenze. This time, his family’s villa is destroyed and Ezio takes the fight to Rome, directly to the rival Templars. But Ezio isn’t working alone. In face, he has a whole league of assassins behind him.
The game allows players to train new assassins and dispatch them on missions, along with the introduction of multiplayer to the Assassin’s Creed franchise (with the multiplayer beta exclusive to Sony PlayStation 3.) Trailers are a bit light on gameplay, but the trailers for both the game proper, and multiplayer, are below.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is due for release in late 2010 on PC, Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft XBox 360
