Last year’s E3 brought with it the stunning reveal of Microsoft’s Project Natal motion control: this year comes the real important stuff, like all the details.
Kinect For XBox 360 is the official name for the innovative motion control, as unveiled in a Cirque du Soleil performance last night that kicked E3 off. The performance is still under some wraps until it’s televised later this week, but so far, some of it looks a little bit more Cirque than Microsoft (though a giant animatronic elephant is a sufficient combination of both.)

More information on Kinect will be available over the coming days, namely with a price tag and a release date, although all signs point towards a launch later this year.
Stay tuned to BurnAllZombies (even better, subscribe via RSS) for more updates through E3. We’ll also have a special preview of Kinect after we had the chance to check it out a few weeks ago.
