After teasing a reveal on their official site yesterday Ubisoft have announced the existence of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, the next instalment in the Assassins Creed franchise. Available later this year for the Xbox 360,Playstation 3 and PC, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood continues the story of Ezio, now a master assassins, as he plots to take down the corrupt Templar Order.
After teasing it in the final moments of Assassins Creed II Ezio’s journey finally takes him to the streets of Rome but this time no longer alone, with an entire army at his side Ezio must become the leader that the Assassins guild requires to defeat their enemy.
The biggest addition to Assassins Creed: Brotherhood will be a never before seen multiplayer mode. Players are given the option to help the Templars by using Abstergo, the games memory control machine, to train in the art of Assassination to eliminate the Assassins once and for all. The mode will offer players a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in different game modes.
