One of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year, it’s only a matter of weeks before Iron Man 2 hits our screens, and to celebrate, there was a brand new trailer released this week. Robert Downey Jr returns as Tony Stark, wearer of the Iron Man suit, but the film also promises many more glimpses into the Marvel universe’s representation on film, including Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Sameul L Jackson as Nick Fury and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.
Of course, the trailer also has two scenes sure to evoke the occasional OMG from a fanboy or -girl, namely War Machine (with Don Cheadle stepping into the role as Jim Rhodes dons the heavy armour) and the last-minute reveal of Tony Stark’s much-discussed (and often mocked) suitcase armour.
Iron Man 2 is due for release 30th April 2010 in the UK and Ireland and 7th May in the USA.
